The Game Rules
Basically, live blackjack follows the same rules as that of traditional Blackjack. You will win the game if the value of your cards is 21 or get a higher value than the dealer. However, the value of your cards should not exceed 21 or else you will lose the game.. As to the value of the cards, the face cards count as 10 point, the Ace is either 11 or 1 which will depend on the player and the other cards will rely on the their given value.
The game starts when players place their bets. When the dealer moves his hands from right to left, this means that players are no longer allowed to change their bets. Each player will be provided with 2 faced up cards and these are called the initial cards. When the player is not satisfied with his cards, then he can choose to surrender. Half of the player's bet will be taken by the house and the other half will be returned to the latter. The dealer will also take out one card and make it visible to all players. Each player will be given a chance to make their moves, like Fold, Hit, Split, and Double Down. Keep in mind that a player can get as many cards he desires.
When all of the players take their turns, the dealer will then take out another card. This will continue until the dealer's cards reach 17. When this happens, the dealer will check if he/she has higher points than the players. In case the player and dealer have the same value, then the bets will return to the player.
In case the dealer has blackjack, all of the players will lose all their bets, given that none of the players has reached 21. If a player and dealer have both reached blackjack, then a standoff is at hand.
